Q-1: How is the failure occurs?
A-1: When a particular condition such as the size of the writing
data and/or the order of write occurs
at the same time,
it might fail to record data to DVD-R or DVD-RW disc. |

Q-2: What is situation when it fails to record data?
A-2: There are three type of scenario will happen, please check
each of them and select the correct scenario
as follows.
1. If DVD-R disc
was recorded in the full of recordable capacity, some of files cannot
be opened,
or a video picture
is disrupted.
2. If a specific
amount of data was recorded to DVD-R or DVD-RW disc during the first
time, it failed
to record these data.
3. If a specific
amount of data was recorded at the second time, it failed to record
these data too, and
the first recorded data cannot be seen as well (it cannot be seen
on Explorer).

Q-3: How frequent will this failure occurs?
A-3: The occurrence of this failure is very low; it depends
on the type of data to be recorded.

Q-4: Does this failure occur in CD-R/RW discs?
A-4: No, it does not occur in CD-R/RW discs. This failure is
only occurring in DVD-R/RW discs.

check your Fujitsu
LifeBook model is subjected to this failure. If your Fujitsu LifeBook
model is affected,
you need to download the firmware update and install it into your
Fujitsu LifeBook.
Please read the
installation procedure and follow the instruction provided during
the firmware
update. In addition,
you can contact Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific helpdesk at the respective
country
to request for
it if you do not have internet access.

firmware update to prevent any failure might
