Why can't I use a normal pen on the T series screen?

The T series convertible tablet pc uses the latest active digitizer as an input interface. It uses radio frequency to communicate the position of the special stylus pen to the sensor grid beneath the LCD. As such, only the bundled stylus pen can be used.
