LifeBook S series FAQs - Accessories

I have Windows NT on My LifeBook Exxx and my modem doesn't work.

When using the SuperDisk Drive Model FPCLS10 (Fujitsu) on my LifeBook S-4545, I experience problems booting up my computer. There is no problem with the CD. What can I do?

Does the LifeBook S-4562's internal modem have fax capability? If yes, how can it be enabled?

I am having trouble setting up my R320s Ericsson mobile phone to connect to the internet via the Infrared port of my S-4572 LifeBook, which uses Windows ME as the Operating System. It immediately correctly identifies the phone when it is within range. However the modem setup utility will not recognize the phone. How can I manually configure the modem to use a virtual COM port?

I am using a LifeBook S-4540 and a Handspring Visor. I need to hotsync my Visor with the notebook, but according to the 'Device Manager', the Com2 is apparently already used by the internal modem. Also, I need to transfer my signature from my Visor to the notebook but only the infrared port. Does my problem arise because the LifeBook S-4540 has only one USB port?

Is the CD-ROM for Windows ME included with purchase of the LifeBook S-4562?
Which brands of FireWire 1394 PCMCIA card are suitable for my notebook? Where do I find the missing drivers necessary for my FireWire card?

Can the Bluetooth PC Card (FPCWL01) be installed into the LifeBook P-1000?
