After
downloading the Modem Driver Software from the website. The

I got a "blue screen" and this happens whenever the
modem is used. Has the Modem Driver lost a "Setup"

can be found in the Software Driver CD in the LifeBook Options
Folder under USB CCD\.

Following
your suggestion of installing updated display driver(s), the
computer reported that the optimum drivers were already installed.
While searching the disk 'Software Drivers For Desktop PCs and
LifeBook Series (Ver.4.2)', the computer reported the error:-
Rundll32 has caused an error in setupx.DLL. This requires termination
of the updated device driver program.
A9
It is a good practice
to close all applications and reboot your system before reinstalling
the display driver. If the error persists, it could be caused
by the CD media when it is being read. Remove and re-insert
the CD media and try again.
After
I installed the recovery disk, the PCI multimedia device &
PCI card cannot be detected and installed with the recovery
disk. I tried using the software driver disk, but I am still
unable to install them.

After the recovery of

The installation instruction of the drivers can be found together
with the software drivers CD. Once you load the Software CD,

My
LifeBook's soundcard supports only half-duplex communication.
I would like to get the latest sound card driver with full-duplex
feature compatible with my system. I have searched for the driver
(Yamaha AG-XG PCI Audio Device Driver) on your Tech Support
Website but I found a version (Ver. 5.12.01.2125) older than
the one installed in my LifeBook (Ver. 5.12.01.2130). Could
you tell me how or where to download the latest sound card driver
with full-duplex support?

The Audio can support
full duplex communication. Please verify the settings used for
the full duplex function.
The
CD-ROM that came with the CD-ROM drive does not include all
the drivers and software needed to complete the setup procedure
when I re-installed the OS. Also, when I tried to run the CoolView
applications downloaded from the web page, an error message
appeared. Where can I find all the executable software applications
and drivers?
A12
For our range of LifeBook
notebooks, a different configuration and OS are loaded for each
different country of sales. There is specific standard OS pre-installed
for the LifeBook. If you make a LifeBook purchase from HK, it
will be preloaded with the Chinese Windows OS. Once you have
reinstalled the OS, you will have to re-install all the drivers
and utility software using the Software Driver CD that is bundled
with the system. The driver for this model is under \LB C-6572\6598
or \LB C-6560. All the utility and option drivers can be found
from the LifeBook 'Options' Folder.

upgrading my LifeBook to Win2000, the Softex Bay Manager is
not able to perform a hot swap. Is there a Win2000 version of
the Bay Manager Driver that I can download?

not supported in Windows 2000. Windows 2000 has built-in features
for the hot swap. If you want to swap your LS120 and CD-ROM,
just press the sus/res button. Once the system is in standby/hibernate
mode, swap the device you want to use after that, press the
sus/res button again.
