Q1 How can I create a bootdisk so that it can boot up the external PCMCIA CDROM in DOS?
A1 Launch CD named "Software Driver for Desktop PCs and LifeBook Series" and open the folder LBB21XX, xx refer to model number. For example, if you owned LifeBook B-2174, the name of the folder will be LBB2174. In this folder, open PCMCIA_DOS folder and launch the readme.txt. The readme.txt file provides step by step guide on how to create a bootdisk which enables CD-ROM to function under DOS environment.

Q2 I cannot resume from suspend mode in Windows 98?
A2 To resume from suspend mode when in Windows 98, please adds the following value Suspend/Resume Functionality:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/VxD/VPOWERD]
"Flags"=dword:00000100
"BiosDate"=hex:63,05,0b
"SuspendFlag"=dword:00000000

Q3 I am reinstalling Windows 98/ ME on my LifeBook B-2178 and I have an unknown device listed?
A3 The ACPI device in some of the LifeBook B-2178 series is not automatically found. If you have installed all devices such as Modem, Audio and Video Controller, it is probably the ACPI device that is the unknown device listed. The ACPI device driver is available in the Drivers and Utilities CD supplied.

Q4 Is my LifeBook B-2130 compatible with Windows XP?
A4 This model is not compatible with Windows XP. Although it works fine with Windows XP, you will need to download the driver for an 'Unknown device' from the following website:
http://www.pc-ap.fujitsu.com/drivers/others/lb_uty_ops/acpi/xp/acpi.exe
