Fujitsu's Stylistic slate
form factor is easily transformed into a notepad,
notebook or desktop
Singapore, 11 June 2003
Building on 12 years of experience
in pen computing, Fujitsu today launched the
Stylistic ST4121, the Tablet PC with a Reflective
TFT LCD display.
Incorporating a front light guide with the reflective
LCD panel, the Stylistic ST4121 affords optimal
viewing in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
When outdoors, the reflective LCD panel makes
use of natural light to illuminate the screen,
without the display being washed out. When in
poorly lit indoor conditions, the display's
front light enhances the screen's clarity.
Mr Raymond Foo, Associate Director, Marketing,
Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific, said: "The Stylistic
ST4121's versatile display produces sharp and
vivid images of presentations, forms, maps,
diagrams and blueprints - whether you are in
a badly lit storeroom or an outdoor coffee shop."
"Powered by the new Intel® Pentium® III Processor
933MHz-M and with longer battery life, the Stylistic
ST4121 features integrated Wi-Fi connectivity
freeing users to access and update real-time
documents and information even while away from
their desk," he said.
With its sleek design and quality build, the
Stylistic ST4121 is based on the slate concept
platform for maximum portability and versatility.
The Stylistic ST4121 can be easily transformed
from a notepad into a notebook with the addition
of a keyboard and portfolio case. By adding
a Tablet Dock that includes a built-in optical
disk drive, the Stylistic ST4121's slate form
factor easily combines to become a complete
desktop solution.
Additional protection comes in the form of an
optional Stylistic Easy Grip that protects the
Stylistic ST4121 while providing full user access
to the display, suspend/resume button and I/O
connectors. Slip the Stylistic ST4121 into the
padded case and carry it vertically or horizontally
by simply repositioning the detachable shoulder
strap.
"Executives will find the Stylistic ST4121 easy
to use because the Active Digitiser display
offers a smooth and intuitive pen input," Mr
Foo said.
