The LifeBook C2210 is an all-in-one multimedia
computing solution for home and office
Singapore, November 6, 2002 One of
the first notebooks to come with a DVD-R/RW drive, the new LifeBook
C2210 offers a total multimedia experience with its brilliant
graphics and fast processors, all encased in a new, curvy and
ergonomic form. As a desktop alternative, the LifeBook C2210 also
impresses with its full array of functions and features for todays
digital lifestyle.
An Intelligent Multimedia Entertainment Hub
Powered by the Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 2.0GHz,
the LifeBook C2210 is capable of efficiently processing full-screen
DVD and MPEG-2 video without the usual halts and inconsistency
in picture quality experienced in older notebooks. The LifeBook
C2210 also features a DVD player mode with Dolby Digital Headphone
stereo sound support, which allows users to fully enjoy the richness
of stereo surround sound.
An ATI Internal Graphics and 32MB/64MB of selectable integrated
video memory with 3D Accelerator, delivers rich, realistic true
colour images for better viewing of movies and live video streaming
over the Internet. The selectable memory function gives users
the choice to decide on how much memory they would like to allocate
to colour graphic applications at BIOS level, depending on the
amount of data and images, thus optimizing memory storage space.
With its high performance 2D/3D acceleration, users can run a
powerful 3D CAD application and a demanding 2D application simultaneously
without any detectable slowdown in performance.
The LifeBook C2210 offers a full complement of optical drives
with a DVD-R/RW drive, floppy disk drive and hard disk drive.
Users can watch DVD movies or create home movies in superior DVD
format on their notebooks. From creating personal music CDs and
movie DVDs to creating a digital photo album, the LifeBook C2210
offers a quick and easy way to preserve precious moments and memories
on a reliable, durable, long lasting storage format.
A Storage Behemoth
In addition to 40GB of hard drive memory, the LifeBook C2210 has
an additional integrated expansion slot that offers users the
flexibility of using either the Memory Stick or Secure Digital
(SD) storage formats. Songs downloaded onto the LifeBook C2210
from the Internet can be saved onto an SD card, which can then
be inserted into a portable MP3 player for personal listening.
Users can edit the photo images downloaded from the digital camera,
add audio effects and a soundtrack to create a family home video
that can be recorded for posterity using the LifeBook C2210s
integrated DVD-R/RW drive.
Comprehensive Communication Connectivity
With the 802.11b Wi-Fi compliant wireless LAN module , the LifeBook
C2210 lets users stay connected virtually anywhere. Besides the
Wi-Fi module, the LifeBook C2210 can be Bluetooth enabled
with a PCMCIA card option. These wireless options give users instantaneous
access to email, important office networks and real time Internet
video streaming, without the hassle of cables or dialing in from
cell phones.
This notebook comes with an integrated modem and an array of I/O
interfaces - an IEEE 1394 FireWire port that enables fast digital
video and data transfer, a SPDIF port, a S-Video Out port and
four USB 2.0 ports. Users can easily download music to a MD player
using the SPDIF port and the S-Video Out lets you watch DVDs on
a bigger screen television, with the LifeBook C2210 doubling up
as a DVD player. The integrated USB ports give users increased
expandability and quick download of data or images from PDAs or
digital cameras.
