Fujitsus Premium LifeBook Sets New Standard in Computing Excellence
Singapore, June 4, 2002 Fujitsu unveils today the latest
LifeBook E Series notebook, the LifeBook E7010. Powered with the latest
Intel® Mobile Pentium® 4-M 1.8GHz processor with SpeedStepTM
technology within its feature-packed, compact and slim body, the notebook
is primed for unprecedented levels of computing performance. Busy
executives on the go will enjoy optimized, smoother and faster 3D
visualization, video encoding and Internet navigation, and reap significant
time-saving benefits from heightened downloading and processing speeds
and work productivity.
Greater Graphics Prowess
The ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics processor with 32MB DDR RAM
enables fast 3D acceleration, superior video editing capability, smooth
DVD playback, integrated Video-out as well as optimized running of
the most graphics-intensive applications. The high-resolution 14
Super XGA+ TFT display offers brilliant graphics outlay, enabling
the user to create impressive presentations with enhanced visual impact.
Feature-Packed Functionality
Fujitsu has bundled its slim port replicator with the LifeBook E7010
for simple cable management and quicker access to desktop resources.
Users can also choose to eliminate cables further by using an optional
IR mouse via the built-in IR mouse receiver. The notebooks modular
bay can hold a second hard disk up to 30GB, a Weight Saver or SuperDisk.
With a FireWire (IEEE 1394) port, users now have extremely fast access
to digital camcorders, scanners and other external devices. Audiophiles
will also welcome the new integrated SPDIF port, which allows efficient
transfer of digital audio data between CD or DVD players and amplifiers.
Quick Access to Office Networks
With an integrated modem and network-ready capability, the LifeBook
E7010 ensures that executives stay connected to their offices, customers
and associates anytime, anywhere. Users also have the option of accessing
local and personal area networks wirelessly via Bluetooth. This
is done through the insertion of an optional PC card. In addition,
four one-touch programmable application launch buttons give users
flexibility in customizing the notebook for instant and ready access
to their favourite applications.
Ingenious Security System
The LifeBook E7010 has a security panel with four numeric buttons
offering more than 800,000 possible password combinations. Users can
be assured that confidential information is safely locked away even
in standby mode and other, unauthorised parties are denied usage of
your notebook in the event of its theft.
