- Fujitsu PC (Asia) Pte Ltd will be expanding into Australia
and is changing its name to Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte
Ltd.
With the inclusion of its operations Down
Under, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific's key markets will now be
increased to five: Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore
and Thailand. According to International Data Corporation
(IDC), Fujitsu enjoyed the highest growth rate of total
unit shipments in Singapore last quarter*.
Mr Alex Leung, COO, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific,
said, "Over the past four years, Asia has experienced
two major economic downturns. Yet in the same period Fujitsu
has gained significant PC market shares in the region. Our
'High-Quality, High-Tech, High-Touch' concept has earned
the highest respect from the Asian PC market and we are
now ready to extend the same offer into the Pacific region.
Our vision is to become the "Best" PC brand in
Australasia and we are all fully committed to this direction."
The new Australian office, Fujitsu PC Australia,
is scheduled to start operations by this year and will be
carrying the complete range of the LifeBook series.
