World honor 18 Top Innovative Products Introduced at Premier
Information Technology Event

PC Corporation's , Fujitsu LifeBook P Series today was named
"Best of Show" by Key3Media Group, Inc. (NYSE:
KME, news, msgs) and sponsors CIO, Computerworld, InfoWorld,
Network World and PC World at the annual Best of COMDEX
Awards. Senior editors from the IT industry's leading publications
judged and honored the most innovative and noteworthy IT
products introduced during COMDEX Fall 2001 in 17 categories
plus "Best of Show". The award-winners were announced
in a ceremony at COMDEX Fall 2001, which is taking place
November 12-16, 2001, in Las Vegas.
This year marked the inaugural year of these five publications
sponsoring and judging the Best of COMDEX Awards. "We
all enjoyed the opportunity to evaluate and learn about
the innovative products coming out of both new and established
vendors," said John Dix, Editor-in-Chief of Network
World, speaking on behalf of his editorial colleagues who
participated in the program. "Despite the troubled
economy and world political issues, innovation clearly triumphed
and was evident in the nearly 400 entries we received for
this program."
Eighteen awards were announced at the ceremony. The coveted
"Best of Show" was awarded to Fujitsu PC Corporation
for their product, the Fujitsu LifeBook P Series. The LifeBook
P Series is an ultra light, ultra portable notebook computer
that utilizes an innovative, low voltage Transmeta chip,
which allows an unheard of six hours of life. Seventeen
awards were given out in individual categories and one product
was designated as Best of Show. Editors from the participating
publications were each responsible for judging three or
more of the categories.
Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is the
Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters for PC business of Fujitsu
